Join us for this interactive session to learn more about the ins and outs of the local social sector “eco-system” while also getting to know more about your fellow CGP members. Through structured networking and facilitated discussions about the data presented\, you’ll walk away with a deeper understanding of our social sector community and a new appreciation for the important role that you and your fellow CGP members play in it. \nSpeaker Bio:\n \nAnn Starr is the Director of Learning & Leadership for Mission Capital\, an Austin-based nonprofit resource center and consulting firm. She leads Mission Capital’s training and facilitation services\, oversees the organization’s membership program\, and works directly with a wide range of nonprofit leaders and organizations to help them advance their missions. \nPrior to Mission Capital\, Ann was the Managing Director at Forklift Danceworks\, an innovative performing arts organization where she led all development efforts and oversaw company operations. She has also served as Development Director for Texas Appleseed\, and was the Director of The St. Edward’s Fund at St. Edward’s University for nearly six years and was an adjunct faculty member. \nAnn is the former chair of the SIMS Foundation Board of Directors\, served on the Amigos de las Américas International Board of Directors\, and is currently a founding member of the Board of Directors for Tiny Hearts.
