Changs. \n2013 RSVP FORM \n \nIn 1999\, Boston College published a study that by 2052 that there would be a wealth transfer of somewhere between $41 – $136 TRILLION from one generation to the next in the U.S.  But\, is that still valid after two economic downturns?  More importantly\, how does that translate right here in Central Texas?  The Austin Community Foundation joined with the Waco Foundation and the San Antonio Area Foundation to have a Transfer of Wealth study done in Central Texas.  Learn the results of that study and the potential impact it could have. \nPresenter: \nMariBen Ramsey\, Austin Community Foundation \nMariBen Ramsey\, an Austin native\, serves as Vice President & COO\, General Counsel  with The Austin Community Foundation since 1995. During her tenure\, the Foundation has grown from $12 million to over $100 million. In 2009\, the Foundation made over $15 million in grants to more than 700 non-profit organizations. \nBefore joining the Foundation\, Ramsey was a shareholder with the law firm of Graves\, Dougherty\, Hearon & Moody. She practiced corporate law with Clark\, Thomas & Winters upon graduation from law school. \nRamsey graduated from Austin High School and went on to receive a B.B.A. in accounting from the University of Texas. She also received her J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law. \n
