SUMMARY:Charitable Giving with IRA's
DESCRIPTION:Tony Weber joined the University of Texas in the summer of 2017 as the Director of Gift Planning for the College of Liberal Arts and is now the Executive Director of Gift Planning\, and obtained his CFP® certification in 2023. He has spent 24 years in fundraising\, primarily in higher education. Of those years\, 19 have been in planned gift fundraising\, including seven years leading gift planning efforts at St. Edwards University in Austin. Tony has also been happily married for 23 years and has two daughters\, ages nine and 16. \n  \nGenevieve Hughes joined the University of Texas at Austin as a Director of Gift and Estate in 2020. Prior to joining UT\, Genevieve worked in development for the University of Chicago. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and her law degree from the University of Illinois-Chicago School of Law. Before discovering her zeal for higher education fundraising\, Genevieve worked professionally in restaurant kitchens\, film production companies and as a public interest attorney. Outside of her role at UT\, Genevieve enjoys cooking for friends\, exploring the greenbelts and small towns of Texas and being outdoors with her pup\, Sophie. \n  \nSave the Date! \nMore information coming soon. \nRSVP for this luncheon
