Speaker(s): Eric Boyce with Boyce Wealth
Eric is the Co-founder and CEO of Boyce & Associates Wealth Consulting, Inc. and Boyce & Associates Business Valuations, LLC. Eric has worked in finance, treasury management, investment research, and portfolio management since 1991 and has served in various leadership capacities during his 30+ year professional career.
During that time, he has served as Austin Director for a West Texas investment adviser, as senior portfolio manager for Hester Capital Management/Luther Kind Capital Management, and as Research Director for two other Texas-based registered investment advisers (RIA’s). He has extensive experience in security and financial analysis, portfolio strategy and management, business valuation, and private investments.
Eric earned his B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin and his M.S. in Finance from the University of Texas at Dallas. Eric earned his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation from the CFA Institute and previously earned the Non-Qualified Plan Adviser (NQPA) certificate as well as the designations of Chartered Investment Counselor (CIC) and Certified Cash Manager (CCM). He is an active member and past President of the CFA Society of Austin and is currently a member of the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts (NACVA) and the Society of Financial Service Professionals (FSP).
Eric is also very active in his community. He currently serves on the City Council for the City of Cedar Park (TX), having previously served as President of the Cedar Park Economic Development Corporation and as Chairman of the city’s Planning & Zoning Commission. In addition, Eric serves on the board of the Leander ISD Educational Excellence Foundation (LEEF) and actively supports Reveal Resource Center and other local non-profit organizations. He also serves as a senior member of the Investment Committee for the Ascension Seton Hospital Foundation (Seton Fund), and previously as Treasurer and Investment Committee Chair for the Catholic Foundation for the Diocese of Austin. Other prior board affiliations include Catholic Charities of Central Texas, Austin-based LifeWorks, St. Louis Catholic School, St. Dominic Savio Catholic School, and Communities in Schools of Central Texas.
Eric has been married for 31 years and is the proud father to two adult children.
