Wealth, Legacy, and Community: Building Impact in Central Texas
The largest transfer of wealth in history is underway, and its effects are already being felt in Central Texas. As tech entrepreneurs, longtime residents, and new families alike make decisions about their legacies, the role of gift planning has never been more critical. This session will explore how the Great Wealth Transfer and the rise of next-generation donors are reshaping philanthropy—both nationally and here in Austin. We’ll highlight practical gift planning tools, from bequests to complex asset gifts, and discuss how nonprofits and advisors can collaborate to turn donor intent into lasting community impact. Real-world examples will illustrate how generosity can be structured for both flexibility and sustainability. Attendees will leave with fresh insights into the future of philanthropy and practical strategies for guiding transformational gifts.
