Mike Hernberg is Director of Planned Giving Solutions at Harris Connect LLC, which provides fundraising solutions to non-profits for their annual funds, major gift efforts, capital campaigns, planned giving, membership, and alumni relations work. He has worked in direct fund raising since 1986 and previously served as a Director of Planned Giving at Scripps Health Foundation and the Director of Development for the American Institute for Economic Research. Mr. Hernberg received an MBA in finance and economics from the University of Rochester and a BA from Bucknell University in economics. He received the CSPG certification from the American Institute for Philanthropic Studies and is a candidate for the Certified Financial Planning certification. After 25 years in Rochester, New York, he really enjoys biking, running and swimming outdoors year round in San Diego.
