Amy Allen has served in numerous roles at the Austin Community Foundation dating back to 1992. During Amy’s tenure, the Foundation has grown from 83 funds, $5.3 million in assets to over 1300 funds, $350 million in assets.
As a senior member of the team, Amy provides best-in-class donor service to many fundholders, both long-time and new, to help them meet their philanthropic goals, leads the Foundation’s Planned Giving program and serves as the primary contact for all nonprofit funds. Amy loves working with people and finding ways to connect their generosity and passion with causes they care about that will make a difference in people’s lives and in our community.
Prior to the Foundation, Amy worked in the hospitality industry and real estate in Colorado. Amy is a graduate of Stephen F. Austin High School and has a B.S. in Restaurant, Hotel and Institutional Management from Texas Tech University.
Amy and her husband, Trevor, are happily married Austinites with two daughters. She most enjoys spending time with her family, friends, dog and cows. You may find her in the hill country enjoying the outdoors and wildlife, fishing in the Texas bays, or out and about in Austin. Amy loves to make new friends from all walks of life.
