April 27 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Anne Kathryn Zamkovsky, J.D., serves as the Senior Director of Gift and Estate Planning at Baylor College of Medicine, where she provides strategic leadership for the institution’s planned giving program. In this role, she applies her broad legal and philanthropic expertise to guide donors and professional advisors in crafting enduring philanthropic commitments. She also administers planned gifts, working collaboratively with Baylor leadership and donors to ensure donor integrity through gifts of non-cash assets and other alternative giving options.

Anne Kathryn is also an active leader in the advancement of her field. She currently serves as President-Elect of the Charitable Gift Planners of Houston and is Assistant Editor of the Journal of Planned Giving, helping shape professional standards and promote excellence in charitable planning in Texas and beyond. Anne Kathryn and her husband are the proud parents of twin boys and she enjoys swimming, calligraphy, and the LSU Tigers.

Passing the Torch – The Legacy of Your Planned Giving Program

As the workforce ages and the Great Wealth Transfer accelerates, planned giving programs must proactively build a foundation for long-term sustainability while cultivating the next generation of leaders. This presentation will show you how to strengthen your program’s internal structures, such as documenting processes and making sure institutional knowledge is captured effectively. Anne Kathryn will also review how to create mentorship pipelines and foster cross-training within development teams to help ensure planned giving expertise and information is shared. A sustainable program is a successful program.
