February 10 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
Topic: Values-Based Estate Planning in a Changing Society
Description
Over the past 10 years, the tax landscape has changed in ways that significantly affect charitable giving. For many clients, estate taxes are no longer a major reason to include charities in their estate plans. Therefore, it has become increasingly important for advisors move the conversation from estate taxes to discussions of how much of a legacy the client wants to leave to their family. This discussion can open the conversation to include charities in a significant way, even for families with children and moderately sized estates. This session will provide practical tools and guidance for discussing values-based estate planning with your clients in light of the changing tax landscape.”
